11 Keys to Great Success in Life and Business: Key #4 Start Now

Key #4: Start Now
Many people have big dreams and lofty goals. Big dreams and lofty goals are easy. But there is one key ingredient for big dreams and lofty goals to become reality: get started. No one ever accomplished anything without simply getting started. And sometimes the start of some very big things may be very simple. Check out the history of Steve Jobs and Apple Computer. A very simple start to a phenomenal success. There are more examples including Microsoft, Facebook, Subway and many more.

The point is that no matter how simple your start may seem… you simply MUST get started to achieve anything.

I hear a lot of people say they need more planning. Or they will start next week. Or they need to do more research. Or whatever excuses they can find to delay getting started. Think of it this way, delaying getting started means postponing your dreams and goals. If you postpone your dreams and goals long enough they may never happen.

Please don’t tell me, “I’m too old.” Ray Kroc met the McDonald brothers when he was 54. Age is a number not an excuse.

Here’s my challenge to you: Identify at least ONE thing you can do right NOW, today and every day from here forward to accomplish your big dreams and lofty goals. Do it now!
