Cluttered Inbox?

I have a lot of email subscriptions, and while I don’t necessarily want to unsubscribe from them all, I’ve always wished there was a way to manage all of your subscriptions, to avoid having to scan and delete numerous emails a day. A cluttered inbox was making me less productive.

Then I found Unroll.me, a site that will collect all of your subscriptions and send you a ‘daily digest’ – which is essentially one email that contains all of your subscriptions in it. It’s free to sign up, and once you do Unroll.me will scan your email subscriptions, and allow you to add them to your daily digest, unsubscribe, or simply allow the messages to keep heading to your inbox.

I’ve been testing it out for the past few weeks, and I must say I’m impressed. While it may take a few days for it to start catching everything effectively (once I signed up a few emails went to my inbox instead of the daily digest), I’ve been a lot less stressed when opening my inbox on a daily basis. Instead of having to look at each email individually, I can scan the daily digest and decide if anything is click-worthy. I can even sign in on the website and look at past digests. It also notifies you in your digest once new subscriptions are noticed.

Currently Unroll.me supports Outlook.com (including Hotmail, MSN, & Windows Live), Gmail, Google Apps, Yahoo! Mail, AOL Mail, and iCloud. I’d suggest giving it a try if you’re like me and desire a streamlined inbox.

Until Next Time,

Tom Zobel
