Don’t Forget About the Baby Boomers!

Earlier this year, The Pew Research Center estimated that Millennials now outnumber Baby Boomers 73 million to 72. While this means that Millennials are now the largest generation in America, it reveals something else that many people miss. There are still a huge number of Baby Boomers out there! They may not be the largest generation anymore but 72 million is still a pretty big group of people.

So what kinds of promotional products attract boomers? In an earlier blog, we discussed the different products you can use to attract millennials. In keeping with that spirit, here are some promo products to help you reach their Boomer parents.

Personal Health Items – As people get older, their efforts to stay in shape and lead a healthy lifestyle increase. This creates an opportunity for your business with branded personal health items.

  • Pill Trays
  • Hand Sanitizers
  • First Aid Kit
  • Pill Cutters

Phone Accessories – A common misconception about Baby Boomers is that they’re anti-smart phone and would prefer a rotary phone to an iPhone. This is far from the case with Baby Boomers spending almost as much time using smart phones as their millennial counterparts. So, the same tech products you’re using to appeal to millennials could help you appeal to Baby Boomers just as easily.

  • Headphones
  • Phone Chargers
  • Power Banks
  • Styluses

Home Goods – While home goods are a great way to reach any demographic, they’re especially effective when reaching out to baby boomers. These promo products will be used every day, keeping your brand top of mind with boomers.

  • Measuring cups
  • Cups/Tumblers
  • Reading Lights
  • Reusable Bags
