Four Unique Ways to Say ‘Thank You’

With the current state of things, it’s easy to get caught up with whatever the next thing is that we need to do. Maybe it’s the next step in the project your team has been working on for months or running through your client presentation for the umpteenth time to make sure it’s perfect.

While all these things are important, they can make us lose sight of the people behind that project or presentation that make your business possible. That’s why we’ve put together this handy list of some different ways you can say thank you to the people who make your business thrive.

Handwritten Notes

Taking the time to jot down a few sentences about how this person has helped your business will go a long way in making you stand out to them. A study published in Psychological Science found that writing hand-written notes “boosts positive emotions and well-being for both the letter-writing “expresser” and the recipient of the stated appreciation.”

Video Messages

In today’s video-centric world, a short video message is another way to really make an impactful thank you. This doesn’t have to be a fancy 4K motion picture either. Just a simple “Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for _____. It really means a lot to me; I hope you have a good rest of your day,” shot off your smartphone will work just fine.

Gift Baskets

When we picture gift baskets, we tend to think of a bunch of fruit or chocolate stuffed in a wicker basket. While there’s nothing wrong with that, the gift basket industry has much more to offer. There are baskets out there for every niche demographic you can think of, including cheese enthusiasts, board game fanatics and craft beer snobs. You’re sure to find the gift basket that makes the perfect thank you for your employee or client.

Personalized gifts

If you really want to show your appreciation, there’s nothing better than a one-of-a-kind, personalized gift. This could be anything from the classic fountain pen with their name engraved on it to a pair of socks with their face on it. To make your personalized gift really pop, think about something that really interests them like their favorite sports team or TV show. Incorporating that into your gift will be the cherry on top to making it a gift they’ll hold onto forever.
