Proforma Provides Gifts for Several Local Families During the Holiday Season

holiday_givingIn the spirit of the holiday season, Proforma’s Support Center Team Members have collected more than $3,500 in cash and gifts for seven local underprivileged families.

“The generosity our Support Center Team has shown for those less fortunate in our community is a great example of the outstanding commitment and service to others that they demonstrate every day,” said Brian Smith, President and Chief Operating Officer of Proforma. “It is our mission at the Support Center to help make dreams come true. Our team has taken this to heart, and not only for Proforma Owners and ourselves, but those in our community that need our help too.”

Proforma began its holiday gift giving program in 2009. The Support Center Advisory Council (SCAC), a group of Team Members elected by their peers to organize Support Center initiatives, spearheaded this year’s fundraising events by coordinating raffle drawings, catered lunches and a holiday snack cart.

“Our team participates in many charitable events throughout the year, including clothing and food drives, community meals, creating care packages for troops overseas and volunteering at a local food pantry,” said Kathy Mayo, Proforma’s Director of Human Resources. “These activities are driven entirely by our Support Center Team and we are extremely proud of all their hard work. They are truly making a difference in our community.”

Proforma’s Support Center will also provide gifts and money to Cleveland’s Achievement Centers for Children, a non-profit organization that provides support, services and programs that help children with a wide range of physical, emotional, neurological or developmental disabilities.
