When you think of spring, what do you think of? Is it fresh air, warm weather or the sound of birds chirping? What about spring cleaning? What about spring cleaning yourself? After all, that’s where your motivation is – it comes from within!

We all know that winter takes its toll on even the strongest of us and that is why it is important to give yourself a good spring cleaning to refresh and recharge. Give yourself a fresh new start and outlook when spring is finally here.

Here are some things you can do to get started:

Think in a positive manner. Some might say that this is easier said than done, but if you take this mental approach and utilize it in your day-to-day activities, it can make a great impact on your life. Surround yourself with positivity and transfer it into your own life.

Start being more organized this spring. By being more organized, it can help you achieve some of the activities that you are doing faster than you have before. Make a check list of the things that you need to get done and when you finish them, cross them off the list. By seeing all of the things that you have accomplished, it can help bring more positivity into your work life. Take notice of the awesome things you have done!

Do something you enjoy. One of my favorite parts of spring is baseball season. In the spring, I coach youth and high school baseball and I can say that it is one of my biggest passions. After a long day of work or I am stressed about my work load, I find myself feeling better by doing something that I really enjoy. Find something that you love to do and let it be an outlet or escape from your work for a little bit. Use it as motivation to finish your work so that you can go out after and enjoy yourself!

When spring is finally here, take a little time to do spring cleaning on you. Even though the winter months always seem like they are the longest, assure yourself that we will be basking in the sunlight, enjoying the fresh, warm air and can enjoy the longer days soon.
