After what has been one of the worst winters in recent history for most of us, we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! It is officially spring and the weather is sure to get the memo sometime soon. As the temperatures start to warm up and we start coming out of hibernation, it’s the perfect time to bring your marketing efforts back to life, too. I’ve put together a quick list of the top four promo categories to keep your business top-of-mind as your customers and employees start thinking spring.
Time to Get Moving Again
Being cooped up indoors for several months can cause serious cabin fever. Your customers and employees will be chomping at the bit to get outside the first chance they get. They’ll appreciate sporty, active or outside-themed gifts from you.
Trending: Yoga mats, golf accessories, check-point friendly carry-on bags, ponchos and gardening tools.
Spectators Gear Up
Maybe your audience isn’t the most active crowd. You can still engage them with fun outdoor products that will help them enjoy the spring and summer months.
Trending: Canvas totes styled after designer bags, insulated coolers, portable chargers for mobile devices, compact picnic sets and sunglasses. (Really… promo sunglasses have come a long way. It’s easy to find styles you’ll want to wear.)
Health & Fitness
Increased activity also means increased risk of injury. If your target market is a younger crowd, health and safety promos might be your best bet. Consumers between 21-34 years old were the most likely to own a logoed health and safety product. And the even better news… 82% of U.S. consumers can remember the advertiser’s name on the safety product they own.*
Trending: Branded first aid kits, auto accidents kits, sunscreen, reflective lights and workout accessories.
Apparel is the Year-Round Promotional Staple
Spring is the perfect time to help your audience freshen up their wardrobes. Apparel is a win/win for you and your employees and customers. They love to receive it (44% of U.S. consumers say they own a branded or logoed shirt*) and your brand gets major exposure.
Trending: Eco-friendly fabrics, fitted styles, performance fleece, classic polos with modern fits and branded apparel modeled after retail fashion.
